Facilities

We maintain several state-of-the-art computer laboratories and a Computer Training Lab within the CGIS complex.  Our well designed and maintained master server room features generator-backed, redundant power supplies, fire suppression, cooling, and keycard security systems. We also have off-site server space in one of the University's main server facilities that ensures provision of disaster recovery and service continuity for our mission-critical services.

Computer Labs

Computer Labs

We maintain several 24-hour, state-of-the-art, computer laboratories at the Center for Government and International Studies (CGIS) Knafel Building. Our labs feature both Windows and Mac OSX machines with an extensive collection of software for social science research. High-speed printers, both black and white and color, are available, as are color scanners. Open work areas with direct network access also are available.  The labs are popular work places for students, visitors, faculty, and staff.
