Taking an idea where it shouldn't go...

One sign that the whole network idea may have gone a bit too far: when I was flipping around the channels last night was one with the header: “Jesus networked with people from varied backgrounds”.

Why not? To me this is just a matter of language, or labels, really. Applying a modern term to historical behaviors might sound funny, but come to think of it, networking actually is what Jesus was all about...and building social capital, of course. Ok David, now I see your point.
