Today's online version of the economist included the following figure on membership growth of facebook. It appears that growth rates have somewhat peaked.

How about our readers. Are you tired of your current social networks?

I wonder if Facebook is simply saturated. It seems to be the dominant player in the US, but it is largely trumped by other sites in a large portion of the rest of the world. What I do wonder is how the usage rates have changed as well as what the membership trends of other SN sites look like.
