Siddharth Eapen George

Siddharth George is a PhD student at the Department of Economics and the Harvard Kennedy School.  His research interests are in development economics, political economy and labour economics.  He is particularly interested in political selection, namely what incentives and institutions affect the quality of the political class, and its consequences for policy and economic outcomes.  He is also currently writing a paper on the long-term impact of the Partition of India, probably the largest population movement of the 20th century.
