Ankur Patel
Visiting Scholar, Harvard Kennedy School
Ankur Patel joined the The Institute in September 2006. His work focuses on the development of a new analytic framework for the US National Accounts. He works in collaboration with Professor Dale Jorgenson.
Ankur has a Masters degree in International Development from Brandeis University and Bachelors degrees in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Prior to join The Institute, Ankur has worked in actuarial science, information management, statistical programming, and humanitarian assistance. In an odd twist, he helped to produce a large format film on India in 2004.
Ankur's primary interest is the application of econometric and computational models to solve real world problems and shape public/private policy in a variety of disciplines.
