Brian is a junior concentrating in Economics and Mathematics and a resident of Lowell House. This semester, Brian is working under the tutelage David Laibson of the Economics Department in the field of behavioral economics. Brian previously worked as an Undergraduate Scholar with Professor Tsyvinski of the Economics Department to develop a model of the effects of taxation on inequality and intergenerational mobility, with an eye toward social welfare under common social utility functions. He also researched the economics of law enforcement, urban microfinance, and zoning and land-use regulations.
Brian resides in Beachwood, OH, and is a graduate of Upper St. Clair High School in Upper St. Clair, PA. He plans to attend graduate school in Economics and Statistics.
