Dawn Brancati is an Instructor in Social Studies at Harvard and an IQSS Fellow. Before her current appointment, she was a Data Fellow at the Harvard-MIT Data Center. A New York native, Dawn received her Ph.D. from Columbia University (2003) and was a visiting fellow at the Center for Democratic Studies at Princeton
University (2002-3). Her research interests include comparative electoral
systems, decentralization, and ethnic conflict.
