Ferdinand Alimadhi joined The Institute in November 2004. His work focuses on translating complex statistical models into robust software, using state-of-the-art algorithms and development techniques. He works in cooperation with Professor Gary King.
Ferdinand holds a Master of Science degree in Computer/Computational Science from the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands and a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from the University of Tirana, Albania
He has worked for some major institutions in Albania, including the Albanian Ministry of Finance as a software engineer/database developer, and the University of New York Tirana as a lecturer, until June 2004, when he transferred his professional experience to the United States.
Ferdinand is interested in most areas of computer science, both theoretical and practical. His primary professional interest centers on computational methods, computer simulation and other forms of computation to problems in various scientific disciplines.
