Gozde Bahadir

Visiting Scholar, The Polinsky Language Lab, Department of Linguistics

Gözde Bahadır studied second language acquisition at the University of Paris 3 – Sorbonne Nouvelle, where she obtained her MPhil degree in 2005 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Georges Daniel Véronique. She is a PhD student at the Cognitive Science Program at the Informatics Institute of the Middle East Technical University, Ankara with a major in linguistics and a minor in psychology. Her academic advisor is Asst. Prof. Dr. Annette Hohenberger and co-advisor is Prof. Dr. Deniz Zeyrek. She is currently visiting Prof. Dr. Maria Polinsky’s Language Lab at the Department of Linguistics and the Institute for Quantitative Social Sciences at Harvard University from September 2009 to September 2010. Her research interests include psycholinguistic aspects of language processing, in particular structural priming in language production and comprehension; Turkish morpho-syntax, and child language acquisition.
