From inside and outside government, Greg Mills has conducted policy research and evaluation studies on ways to promote the economic well-being of low-income households in the U.S.  His work has focused on asset-building, financial services, housing assistance, income support, food stamps, child support enforcement, and community development.   He has held positions at Abt Associates, the Urban Institute, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Economic Affairs, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.  He received his Ph.D. in Public Policy at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.   His interests include golf, sailing, and kayaking.  Active in community affairs, he currently serves on the Board of Selectmen of Wellesley, Massachusetts.
