Hiroaki "Muppy" Matsura

Hiroaki Matsuura (a.k.a Muppy ) is a doctoral student in the Health Economics track at the Harvard School of Public Health. His primary fields of interest are comparative law, science, and economics of risk regulation, with a particular focus on different societies’ efforts to regulate health, safety, environmental and financial risks. His dissertation research focuses on the health and economic effects of constitutions and health legislations. Hiroaki received his BA in Economics from Keio University, MA in Social Science from the University of Chicago, and MS in Project Management from Northwestern University’s McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science.
