Isabelle Chopin

Before joining the Institute in September 2006, Isabelle worked for various software startups, including Dragon Systems, Wildfire Communications, and SavaJe Technologies. Isabelle is a member of the Senior Common Room at Currier House. She holds a weekly French conversation table there to which everyone is invited (all levels welcome; however speaking English with a French accent is not sufficient). She was also a Lecturer in French in the Romance Languages Department at Princeton University a number of years ago. Although she was born in France, she is now a naturalized U.S. citizen and happily exercises her right to vote in this country. You can see Isabelle rowing on the Charles with the Kennedy School students in the fall and summer, and Currier House undergraduates during the intra-murals races in the Spring. She has also participated in the Head of the Charles Regatta for several years. In her free time, Isabelle enjoys walking her canine friends around Fresh Pond and her neighborhood. She also likes to use her digital camera for any reason.
