Jennifer Pan is a graduate student in the Department of Government at Harvard University. She holds a B.A. summa cum laude from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy and International Affairs at Princeton University. Her current research examines the interaction between citizens and leaders in places where democratic institutions and practices are absent or nascent, and how technology facilitates and hinders these interactions, using methods of automated content analysis and experiments. Prior to her graduate studies, she was an engagement manager at McKinsey Company based in New York and Beijing. Jennifer has also worked for the Chinese Center for Disease Control, the Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative and the Clinton Global Initiative.
