John is a Ph.D. candidate in the department of Social and Decision
Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University. His research interests include
positive political theory, game theory, quantitative methods, American
politics and the role of the media. In his dissertation, he is
developing and testing several models of the media and the
implications of an outlet's incentives.
