Interests: Professor Quinn's primary area of research interest is in political
methodology. He has published articles on, among other topics,
multiparty electoral competition, ideal point estimation, and decision
making on the U.S. Supreme Court. His current research projects
include a series of articles dealing with decision making on the U.S
Supreme Court, an article on party discipline in the British House of
Commons, an article on ecological inference, and an article that
develops more flexible statistical models for data generated by
strategic actors.
