Lucy Barnes

Lucy Barnes grew up in the UK, and received her BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Trinity College, Oxford in 2003. After spending a year teaching in France, joined the Political Economy and Government program at the Harvard Kennedy School in 2004. Her research interests focus on the comparative political economy of the advanced democracies, and the interaction between economic inequality and political institutions in the determination of government policy. As a member of Harvard’s ultimate Frisbee team, Lucy spends much of her spare time chasing a plastic disc around a field.
