Maoliang Ye

Maoliang is a Chinese PhD student in the Public Policy program at Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Before coming to Harvard, he was first trained as an engineer with solid quantitative knowledge, but then shifted to social science and got his master degree in economics. With a clear career goal of policy-related researches, his current research interest is the intersection of public economics and political economy in developing context, especially in China. He is now working on social safety net, public good provision, intergovernmental fiscal relationship, and institutional background for firms.
