Matthew is a fifth-year PhD candidate in the Department of Governmentat Harvard University. In the 2009-2010 academic year he will be thecoordinator for the Applied Statistics Workshop at IQSS. He is also acontributor to the Social Science Statistics blog on occasion.
Matthew's research focuses on political methodology and formal theory.In methods, he works on missing data, causal inference, panel data andsocial network analysis. In formal theory, he is interested in models of belief formation and diffusion.
