Mun Ho received his Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University in 1989 and his research is focused on economic growth, productivity, taxation and environmental economics. He recently co-authored Information Technology and the American Growth Resurgence, a book tracing the adoption of IT by U.S. industries, and the parallel growth of highly educated workers. His work with IQSS Faculty Associate Dale Jorgenson include “Education Policies to Stimulate Growth” and “Energy and U.S. Economic Growth in the next Thirty Years.” Mun also works with the Harvard University Center for the Environment, focusing on Chinese energy use and environmental policy. This research is in a forthcoming book Clearing the Air: Assessing the Health and Economic Damages of Air Pollution in China. He is also a Visiting Scholar or Fellow at Resources for the Future, Washington, DC.
