Nathan Fosse
Graduate Student, Department of Sociology
Nathan Fosse is a doctoral candidate in sociology at the Harvard Department of Sociology. His research focuses on poverty, families, and race/ethnicity. In particular, his dissertation is a longitudinal, mixed methods analysis of the sexual risk profile of youth of different socioeconomic backgrounds. He has published in Pediatrics, the Journal of Health and Social Behavior, the journal Sexualities, and the Annals of the American Political and Social Sciences. At Harvard, he is also a doctoral Fellow in the Multidisciplinary Program in Social Policy and Inequality and a Research Associate at the Achievement Gap Initiative at the Kennedy School of Government. At AGI, he is currently working on a multi-site "ecometric" analysis of teacher classroom quality.
