Nayoung Kwon

Postdoctoral Fellow, Department of Linguistics

Nayoung Kwon has a Ph.D. in Linguistics and Cognitive Science from University of California, San Diego, and a BA and MA in English Language and Literature from Korea University in Seoul, Korea. Her areas of expertise include neuro-psycholinguistics and Korean syntax. She is interested in human language processing, focusing on the questions of how language system interacts with other cognitive functions and how parametric variation in language structure maps into processing. Her new research projects involve heritage language acquisition and cognitive and linguistic profiles of heritage language speakers. She is also teaching at Wellesley College.
