Rajeev H Dehejia

Associate Professor of Economics, Tufts University

Rajeev Dehejia received his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1997, and has taught at Tufts (where he is tenured faculty at the Department of Economics and the Fletcher School), Columbia, Harvard, Princeton, and the London School of Economics. Rajeev’s research has spanned many fields (econometrics, development economics, labor economics, public economics) and topics: matching methods and program evaluation, Bayesian applied econometrics, financial development and growth, financial incentives and fertility decisions, moral hazard and automobile insurance, religion and consumption insurance, and most recently the causes and consequences of child labor. Rajeev’s articles have appeared in The Journal of Law and Economics, The Review of Economics and Statistics, The Journal of the American Statistical Association, The Quarterly Journal of Economics, The Journal of Econometrics, The Journal of Public Economics, The Journal of Development Economics, and Economic Development and Cultural Change. Rajeev is a Faculty Research Fellow of the National Bureau of Economic Research and a coeditor of The Journal of Human Resources.
