Ruben Enikolopov is a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics. Before coming to Harvard, he received an M.A. in economics from the New Economic School in Moscow and an M.Sc. in physics from Moscow State University.
Ruben's research interests include political economy, development, psychology, and economics. His current research topics include the effect of political institutions on the results of fiscal decentralization, comparison of elected and appointed public officials, and the interaction between education and political participation.
