Samuel Arbesman

Research Fellow, Harvard Medical School

Sam Arbesman is a Research Fellow in Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School, working in the group of Nicholas Christakis. He completed a PhD in computational biology at Cornell University in 2008 under Steve Strogatz, where he studied complex dynamics of human activity. From 2004 to 2006, Sam was an IGERT Fellow in Nonlinear Systems. His research interests focus on applying computational and mathematical models to social interactions and the networks on which they occur.
