Skyler Cranmer recently completed his Ph.D. in Political Science at U.C. Davis. His primary field is political methodology where he specializes in statistical computing, missing data problems, and formal theory. His substantive field is International Relations where he is interested in conflicts involving sub-state actors. He has dual interests in the application of innovative statistical methods to political science data and using formal theory tools to develop stronger micro foundations by which to understand and explain the terrorist phenomenon.
At Harvard,he serves as teaching fellow for graduate classes on Bayesian statistics and statistical computing.
