Soner Taskaya

Manager of CGIS Faculty and Staff IT Support, Harvard-MIT Data Center

Soner Taskaya joined the Institute as an IT Support Specialist in August, 2003. Prior to the Institute, he worked for a start-up software company in Lexington.

Soner moved from Turkey when he was 11 years old, and finished middle and high school in Westchester County, NY. He has been living in the Boston area for some time now, where he also attended Curry College. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management.

While outside the Institute, Soner enjoys spending his free time snowboarding in the winter, and golfing and fishing in the summer.
