Stefan Boes

Stefan Boes studied economics at the University of Konstanz where he obtained his M.Sc. degree in 2003. After that he joined the research group of Prof. Dr. Rainer Winkelmann at the University of Zurich and received his Ph.D. in 2007. He is currently visiting the Institute for Quantitative Social Sciences at Harvard University (IQSS) from April 2009 to April 2010. Since September 2007 he is a Research Affiliate at IZA Bonn. His research interests include semi- and nonparametric methods in microeconometrics, in particular discrete response models with applications in welfare, education, and environmental economics.
