Suzanna Chapman is a fourth year PhD Candidate in the Department of Government. Her dissertation research focuses on how states select their populations through immigration policymaking. Currently she is working with Prof. Michael Hiscox on the Harvard Immigration Policy Project, a cross-national, longitudinal dataset describing the immigration policies of OECD countries since 1965. In the summer of 2006, IQSS supported an internship with the International Organization for Migration in Geneva, Switzerland where Suzanna completed exploratory research for her dissertation project.
