Ugo Troiano joined the IQSS in April of 2010 and is currently a graduate student in the Department of Economics at Harvard University. His main fields of interest are labor economics, public economics and political economics. His current research focuses on the economic effects of fiscal rules on public finance outcomes using quasi-experimental designs. Previous research dealt with the connection of economic growth and political accountability. Before coming to Harvard he received a B.A. and a M.Sc. in Economics from Bocconi University in 2006 and 2008, respectively.
