Vivian Ling

Undergraduate, History of Science Concentrator, Harvard University

Vivian is a History of Science concentrator with a secondary in Computer Science in Currier House. Hailing from the beautiful San Francisco, CA, her fascination lies mainly with the intersection between her various interests of medicine, technology, privacy, and public policy. She is currently working with Latanya Sweeney in the Data Privacy Lab on theDataMap, an online portal for documenting data flows on the Internet. When not paging through the details of HIPAA, Vivian can be found poring over the archives of American physicians, writing and graphic designing as an Associate Editor and Design Chair for the Harvard Science Review, and tutoring at the Harvard College Writing Center.
