Ximena is a Research Analyst for the Policy Design Initiative. She works on the design, execution, and analysis of international development research projects. Ximena holds a Master's in Public Affairs, Economics, and Public Policy from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University and Economics degrees (BA and MA) from Universidad de los Andes in Bogota.
Ximena worked as Editor and Researcher at Fedesarrollo and as Macroeconomic Policy Adviser at the Colombian Ministry of Finance. She also spent a summer in Geneva working on research at the World Trade Organization. Ximena enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, bicycling, swimming, watching movies, and good food, among other things.
