Yuhua Wang
Associate Professor of Government
I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Government at Harvard University. My research has focused on state institutions and state-business relations in China. I am the author of Tying the Autocrat’s Hands: The Rise of the Rule of Law in China (Cambridge University Press, 2015).
I received B.A. and M.A. from Peking University (Beijing, China) in 2003 and 2006 and Ph.D. in Political Science from University of Michigan in 2011. From 2011 to 2015, I was assistant professor of political science at the University of Pennsylvania.
