 Whenever a system, storage device, or storage procedure is disposed of, assigned to another client, or re-purposed, it must be cleaned to eliminate Harvard confidential information (HCI) data.

 Note: Deleting your files and or reformatting the hard drive may not be sufficient for this process.

 We have a variety of hardware and software solutions available to safely destroy data. To either erase the data on your system or to determine how to destroy the hard disk and recycle a system or device, please [contact us](mailto:help@iq.harvard.edu).

 We can also assist with the recycling of old technology, including but not limited to desktops, monitors, printers, accessories, and cell phones.
