Our Computer Training Room is for instructor-led events that require students to access a computer and follow the instructor. The room (**SB12**) is located in the Sub-basement Level of the CGIS Knafel building and is only open during requested reservation times.

The room has **twenty-two** student workstations and **one** instructor machine, with the ability to add additional workstations for single week events with 30 days prior notice. A ceiling-mounted projector is connected to the instructor machine by default, but a hookup to another computer, such as a laptop, is also available. The room has several whiteboards and additional tables for handouts.

The workstations are OptiPlex Micro Plus 7010 running Windows 11.

If participants need to do follow-up work in our main lab, they can sign up for lab access [here](/contact-labs "Access Request Form"). If your event includes those who are not affiliated with Harvard, we also provide guest accounts with prior notice.

The room is available to reserve Monday - Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Fridays from 9 AM to 5PM.

The Training Classroom is primarily intended for Harvard affiliates. If a class includes non-affiliated attendees, guest accounts must be requested at least one month in advance of the first session.
