Our labs are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, however CGIS Knafel Building access is required to acccess our labs after the building closes for the day.

After hours building access is 100% handled by CGIS Building Operations, and as such IQSS Computer Lab Services has no ability to grant access or do we have any insight into when (or if) your access will be granted.

**CGIS Knafel Building** (academic year):

- Monday through Friday: 7 AM to 10 PM
- Sunday: 1 PM to 9 PM

During school holidays (including spring break) and summer months, CGIS Knafel Building is open as follows:

- Monday through Friday: 7 AM to 7 PM
- Saturday: Closed
- Sunday: 12 PM to 5 PM.

**Email Request:**

To obtain exterior door access for the IQSS COMPUTER LAB/Harvard-MIT Data Center:  
  
A faculty member or a senior administrative sponsor from Harvard should send an **encrypted** email containing the HUID of the person needing access to the following:

- *To: <loriakuzma@fas.harvard.edu>*
- *cc: IQSS Computer Lab Patron Requesting Access*
- *Subject: CGIS Knafel After Hours Access for Computer Lab*
- *Content: Please include the rationale for after-hours access.*

CGIS Building Operations will assign CGIS Data Center Guest access and reply to original e-mail, usually within 24 hours of receipt
