GREI: How to include generalist repositories in your NIH data management and sharing plans

Learn how to include generalist repositories in data sharing plans as part of your preparation for the new NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy beginning in January 2023. This webinar will include guidance on selecting a generalist repository, using generalist repositories jointly with discipline-specific repositories, describing plans to use a generalist repository in a Data Management and Sharing Plan, and preparing for data sharing and reporting.

 Coordinated by the Office of Data Science Strategy at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the goal of the Generalist Repository Ecosystem Initiative (GREI) is to expand its data ecosystem into additional repositories so that researchers can more easily and effectively find and share data from studies funded by the NIH. The Harvard Dataverse is one of six data repositories collaborating with the NIH on this initiative.
