 1.Dataverse Data Management Support/Acquisitions

- Updates to DVN default template to facilitate citation information for deposited data
- thedata.org 
    - Added blog post about recent Usability Testing for Dataverse
    - Posted 40 tweets and our twitter followers increased by 13% during the month of June
    - Created content (4 new webpages) for a brand new section of the website "Getting Started" and re-organized the site for this.
    - Created (2) highly visual Dataverse Network handout1 / handouts 2 to be handed out to the Harvard wide community and posted on the website

   
2.OJS: Integration of Open Journal System (OJS) with DVN (Sloan Grant)

- Total of 7 publishers with >51 journals participating in the OJS-DVN Pilot
- Presented project at IASSIST Conference where it was very well received and resulted in a blog post (from EDaWaX) and an invitation to publish the paper in a book (see below)
- Met Ubiquity Press to discuss OJS-Dataverse project and setup Dataverses (16) for them to test
- Acquired large new academic publisher for project: Scholars Portal (Ontario Canada)
- Submitted a poster proposal of the project to ASIS&T (Nov 2013)
- Was invited to and submitted an abstract for a paper to be published in upcoming book "Sustainable Scholarship". Currently working on 1st draft of paper.
- Created a 1-page infosheet for non-OJS publishers about the project for APSA

   
3.Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation: DVN contracted training and support for Data Management

- 9 dataverses created/28 studies created/1 released
- Subnetwork request in process
- 2nd travel to India to present to Anaya Group on using DVN

   
4.Murray Archive : Data Management/Curation/Cataloging/User Support

- 14 Data Applications
- One user completing a study on "data users of qualitative data"-assisted by linking users of qualitative data in the archive to researcher conducting study
- Paper Digitization Project: 113 studies containing paper data to digitize for Dataverse Network Upload/3 completed/18 in process=33 boxes of raw paper materials
