#  Stephen Ansolabehere named 2015 Don K. Price Award Recipient

 IQSS faculty affiliate Stephen Ansolabehere has been named one of two recipients of the 2015 Don K. Price Award*.*

 Awarded by the American Political Science Association (APSA), the [Don K. Price Award](http://www.apsanet.org/section-15-Don-K-Price-Award) recognizes the best book on science, technology, and environmental politics published in the last year. The 2015 award recognizes David M. Konisky (Indiana University, Bloomington) and [Ansolabehere](http://scholar.harvard.edu/sansolabehere), Professor of Government at Harvard University, for their co-authored book, *[Cheap and Clean: How Americans Think about Energy in the Age of Global Warming](https://mitpress.mit.edu/books/cheap-and-clean).* In their book, Konisky and Ansolabehere draw upon survey research to examine public opinions and concerns about energy in the United States. In their book they find that Americans are consistently pragmatic in their approach to fuel and environmental concerns, usually concerning themselves with potential economic and social costs.

 Stephen Ansolabehere is an expert in public opinion and elections, and has published extensively on elections, mass media, and representation, political economy, and public opinion, especially concerning energy and the environment. His previous publications include *The Media Game, Going Negative, American Government,* and *The End of Inequality.* He is also a principal investigator in the [Cooperative Congressional Election Study](http://projects.iq.harvard.edu/cces/), a large-scale academic survey project which brings together a consortium of research teams from as many as 50 institutions each year.
