September 18, 2015

The IQSS Undergraduate Research Scholars have begun a new academic year, and the Harvard community is invited to join them for a guest speaker visit on September 25.

A program under the direction of [Dustin Tingley](/%E2%80%9Dhttp://www.iq.harvard.edu/people/dustin-tingley%E2%80%9D) (Dept. of Government), the [Undergraduate Research Scholars (URS) program](/%E2%80%9Dhttp://urs.iq.harvard.edu/%E2%80%9D) connecting Harvard researchers with undergraduates interested in research experience. Faculty participants are provided with grant support for their research, while Harvard undergraduates have the unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience working on a faculty-led project. Students in the Undergraduate Research Scholars Program are paid, part-time research assistants and considered IQSS affiliates, with access to resources and guidance that would help them to develop valuable research and academic skills.
