#  User Services Progress Report for March and April 2013

 Reporting Period : March 1st- April 30th

 FY 2013 Goals:  
1: Migrate non-research data users off the HMDC/IQSS File Network Server to the HUIT Active Directory commodity service for Windows (CIFS) file shares  
2: Provide 1:1 or group training for users on mobile and tablet security / tools / apps  
3: Evaluate Windows OS 8 and new tablets  
4: Replace the Image Server and set up Ghost and Acronis Imaging Software  
5: Migrate RCE docs from HMDC support website to IQSS support website  
6: Provide high quality IT services to our desktop users in CGIS and RCE users.

 Reporting Period Updates:  
• We are ready to migrate Davis Center, waiting on this Center to get back to us on a time frame, possible next month early June.  
• Currently interviewing candidates for open position in my team. We have hired a temp. personal, Lee Brown to assist us in the mean time.
