In partnership with The Ostrom Project, The Digital Economist, and AI Native Foundation, this summit is inspired by Elinor Ostrom's revolutionary insights and aims to tackle the urgent crises of disinformation, data privacy, and the monopolization of digital spaces that are fraying the very fabric of societal trust.

Throughout this transformative day of discovery, a distinguished panel of leaders, digital ethicists, technologists, and civic activists will converge to delve into the complexities and opportunities of polycentric governance in digital spaces. Unlike traditional commons, our digital commons possess the unique potential to leverage multi-layered, decentralized governance frameworks that can foster resilience and adaptability. Through keynote presentations, interactive workshops, and spirited roundtable discussions, participants will collaboratively develop innovative strategies and actionable models to democratize digital spaces, restore trust, and ensure the sustainable stewardship of our collective digital future.

Join us at IQSS for this needed and essential exploration, where inspired dialogue and critical thinking will illuminate new pathways to govern our digital commons. This event not only honors Elinor Ostrom’s legacy but also forges a renewed culture of trust, inclusivity, and collaboration , with the intent of reclaiming and protecting the integrity of our shared digital landscape.

	Session Hosts

 <drupal-media data-entity-type="media" data-entity-uuid="a98ec430-1ff9-47f3-a9bb-b3a90108b33a" alt="Mark Esposito" data-view-mode="hwp_small"></drupal-media>

Dr. Mark Esposito (Faculty Associate at Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University)

 <drupal-media data-entity-type="media" data-entity-uuid="06156393-4c7f-4787-9619-6fb8524ca28a" alt="Navroop Sahdev" data-view-mode="hwp_small"></drupal-media>

Navroop Sadhev (CEO and Founder, the Digital Economist)

 <drupal-media data-entity-type="media" data-entity-uuid="6a520d5e-ca2c-42c4-8feb-bd6dca0d6e38" alt="Nikhil Varma" data-view-mode="hwp_small"></drupal-media>

Dr. Nikhil Varma (Associate Professor of Management, Ramapo College of New Jersey)

	Panelists

A mix of in person and remote panelists will animate the session
