 Abtsam is a PhD candidate in the Study of Religion with a Data Science secondary field. Her research examines questions surrounding human-computer interaction and community formation in transregional perspectives. Through her research and fellowships, she has explored a range of issues related to human computer interaction, surveillance, the ethical use of AI, digital infrastructure, and digital humanities methods.
