Arash Pourebrahimi is a PhD candidate in political economy at Leiden University (the Netherlands) and a visiting fellow in political economy at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Harvard and. His research interests include political economy, formal and quantitative methodology, collective decision-making in political institutions and interaction of voters.
His dissertation is focused on decision-making in the Council of the European Union. At the IQSS, he is conducting research on politics in Iran in association with Prof. Gary King and Yichen Guan. He also works as a research and projects assistant at Syracuse University Iran Data Portal.
