 Daniel Lowery is a graduate student in the Department of Government. His research agenda is at the intersection of historical political economy, autocracy, and development. In particular, he interested in the rise, survival, and fall of autocratic rulers and institutions, long-run development and historical legacies, inequality, and conflict.
