Hailey Brace is a PhD candidate in the Economics track of the Health Policy program. Her research focuses on the economics of aging, caregiving, and long-term care. Her ongoing projects examine how the entry of a large employer outside the health sector affects labor supply in long-term care, and how public policy and migration influence health outcomes for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Prior to joining the PhD program, Hailey worked as a predoctoral fellow in the Department of Economics at Harvard and earned a bachelor’s degree in Policy Analysis and Management from Cornell University.
