 Hillel Bavli is an Assistant Professor of Law at SMU Dedman School of Law and an affiliate of the Institute for Quantitative Social Science. He is an experienced litigation attorney whose teaching and scholarship interests are in the areas of evidence law, tort law, complex litigation, law and economics, and empirical legal studies. He is particularly interested in applications of statistics to law. Hillel has completed a Fulbright Fellowship studying game theory in Jerusalem, Israel, and he holds an A.M. in Statistics and a Ph.D. in Statistics in Law and Government, in addition to a J.D.
