Network Science Institute, Northeastern University
Rasoul Rajaei, as a research scholar, is currently affiliated with the Center for Complex Network Research (Barabási Lab.) at Northeastern University and works on controlling complex networks. He graduated from Isfahan University of Technology in 2010 with B.Sc. in electrical engineering-control. He then received his M.Sc. in electrical engineering as well in 2013, selected as the 1st rank. Rasoul immediately became a Ph.D. student of electrical engineering-control at Tarbiat Modares University-Tehran and partly collaborated with the Laboratory of Systems Biology and Bioinformatics (LBB) at University of Tehran. He serves as the reviewer and editor of two control journals and has published several conference and journal papers. Having growing interest in controlling and understanding complex networks as an interdisciplinary focus of his work, his main fields of research are complex systems, optimization, nonlinear dynamics, brain networks, time series analysis, and computational methods. He has been involved in several responsibilities in IEEE, the largest technical professional organization worldwide. Thus far, he is continuing to volunteer in IEEE Boston Section.
