I am a currently a postdoctoral research associate at the Network Science Institute at Northeastern, a fellow at the Harvard Institute for Quantitative Social Sciences and a visiting scholar at NYU Stern School of Business. My research program is at the interface of Behavioral Economics, Data Science and Computational Social Science, and uses of Econometrics and Machine Learning methods on large datasets. I have worked on understanding the mechanisms behind social networks formations, the Economics of online platforms, news-based measures of sentiment in the Economy and the determinants of artistic success. My work has been featured in the Washington Post, Fast Company and Mashable, and I am grateful to have received funding from Google, the International Monetary Fund and the Banque de France.
