Tanya S. Rosenblat is an Associate Professor of Economics at Iowa State University and a visiting scholar at the Research Center for Behavioral Economics and Decisionmaking at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
Her recent research has focused on using experimental methods to explore the effects of physical attractiveness in the labor market, trust in societies and social learning. Many of her recent experiments are web-based field experiments and involve real-world social networks.
Tanya has held appointments at the Institute for Advanced Study, National Bureau of Economic Research, California Institute of Technology and Wesleyan University. Her Ph. D. is in Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her research has been funded by the National Science Foundation and the Russell Sage Foundation. Her research appeared in the American Economic Review and the Quarterly Journal of Economics.
