Tomoko Harigaya is a PhD candidate in Public Policy at Harvard University. Her research fields include development economics and household finance. Her current work focuses on understanding how access to digital financial services affects decision-making of the underbanked households. She is interested in applying insights from behavioral economics to test policy and program designs that could improve their financial and economic capability.
